The $500K Mafia Husband - Episode 1

Vanessa, the female CEO of Cole Holdings, plans to hire a fake husband for 500,000 to fend off the board’s forced marriage pressure. Yet after sitting at the wrong table, she accidentally brings Alex, the head of the Moretti Mafia family, to the Civil Affairs Bureau. Bound by a contractual marriage for mutual benefits, Vanessa leverages Alex’s power to fend off the business suppression from her ex-fiancé Derek, while Alex uses Cole Group’s legitimate status to launder his family’s criminal business. After surviving arson attacks, shootouts, brutal business wars and countless hardships, their fake marriage turns real, and the two fall deeply in love. In the end, Alex retires from the underworld for good. He and Vanessa have a son and a daughter, settling down to live a peaceful and happy life.
